My cancer homies will crack up….

Can’t use the right arm so they placed a strip of masking tape on my arm. Do they realize this Italian girl maybe a little hairy there?

Scans, blood work, procedure …. Those are all easy. Now the waiting game for results. There is nothing routine about my medical life.

Side note every center should have child size gowns for us vertically challenged humans.

I have the opposite problem with gowns. Went for a follow-up two weeks ago with the dermatologist after she removed some pre-cancerous cells (we lymphomaniacs are more susceptible to skin cancer with our imperfect immune systems). She started to tell me to open the back of the gown when she saw it never closed in the first place.

There's a good business idea -- a line of comfy gowns, in many sizes, thicker for the cold months and lighter and breathable for the summer. Sounds like a possible Lyfebulb Challenge.....

When it came to gowns I always laughed when they would say, "Open side in the back".

As a gay man with anal cancer, where else would it be??? 😉
